Mystifying. Inspiring.

It’s the third and final day at ideaCity. I can only speak for myself in saying that the experience has been nothing short of mystifying and inspiring. It’s hard to believe there are only three pods left.

This morning’s pod was all about inspiration and change. The session opened up with a fabulous dance performance from Canadian choreographer Aszure Barton and her fabulous four dancers. Barton’s choreography shows the power of the human spirit to accomplish whatever you choose. What was evident through her work, as her dancer’s flowed harmoniously across the stage was the passion they all had for what they were doing. Passion and inspiration in any form is a powerful catalyst to be around.

Mallika Chopra, daughter of world-famous author Deepak Chopra,  then took to the stage and shared her story of intent and finding a purpose for her own life. Many people wander through life waiting for things to happen and taking them as they come. Chopra challenges all of us to find our own destiny and intent and to make what you want a reality. For someone looking to start a career in a few short months, it struck a chord.

As I take a moment to pause on this conversation break you can’t help but be inspired by by the people coming together. Across the way Natalie McLennan is speaking to an upcoming presenter, who is a mere 14 years old. Beside me, a former dancer is thanking choreographer Aszure Barton for her performance and conveying her love for dance.

This last day is proving to be as powerful as every day before it. We are all excited to get back in and see what is next to come.
